About the Client
AWLMS operates in the EdTech & Learning Management sector based in India. They approached Appworks Technologies looking for a reliable long-term engineering partner with deep expertise in their domain.
The Challenge
Educational institutions and social organizations require robust, scalable, and responsive platforms to host, manage, and track localized learning content. The objective was to design a highly customizable, white-label Learning Management System (AWLMS) supporting hierarchical multimedia modules, video lecture streaming, comprehensive glossaries, and multi-lingual localization options from scratch.
Our Approach
We built the AWLMS engine with a React-based frontend and NestJS/MySQL backend to manage student module progress. The engine supports structured, chapter-by-chapter learning path mapping, robust video streaming hosting, dynamic glossary databases for complex terms, and simple multi-lingual translation layers to support regional education projects.

Results
The AWLMS framework successfully deployed specialized portals, most notably 'Paise Ki Samajh'—a free financial literacy platform delivering structured courses and video materials in simple Hindi. The engine ensures high availability, fast loading speeds of under 1.5s, and smooth progression tracking across all learning devices.
